Raptors are birds of prey and in autumn, migratory raptors undertake a long journey from their breeding grounds in northern Asia to warmer climes in the south.
In spring (northern hemisphere), these same birds will make the return journey. Tanjong Tuan, near , is where the majority of these birds cross the Straits of Malacca on their northbound journey.
Mr Lim Aun Tiah, raptor enthusiast, will talk on the raptor species that you are likely to see at Tanjong Tuan during Raptor Watch 2008 (15th & ).
